A Global Encounter with Mindfulness, Leadership, and Generosity

Bangkok, Thailand — Alexandra Timmros, Miss Grand Sweden 2025, recently made a meaningful visit to Dr. Ddnard’s Bangkok Compass Meditation Centre and the Puritat Golden Pagoda. She was accompanied by international business leaders from Dubai and the Maldives, underscoring the global resonance of this sanctuary.

The visit reflected a growing international interest in mindfulness, conscious leadership, and purposeful giving. It was an exchange of values more than ceremony — where vision, clarity, and compassion came together in one extraordinary place.

A Sanctuary Rooted in Generosity and Global Vision

The Compass Meditation Centre and the Puritat Golden Pagoda were born from the vision and generosity of Dr. Ddnard Napattalung, a global investor, philanthropist, and author. Together with a circle of like-minded philanthropists and meditation practitioners, she donated land and financial support to establish a sanctuary for inner peace, service, and global renewal.

Today, it stands as a world-class destination where visitors find stillness, purpose, and clarity. It is a living example of how generosity and mindfulness can reshape individuals, communities, and cultures.

Puritat Golden Pagoda and the Compass Meditation Centre

The Puritat Golden Pagoda, shimmering under the sun, enshrines 1,899 sacred relics of the Buddha and Arahants. Admired for its architectural beauty and spiritual significance, it stands as a symbol of devotion and inner clarity.

Adjacent to the pagoda is the Grand Meditation Hall , designed to host over 1,000 meditation practitioners. It is filled with natural light and fresh air, creating a serene atmosphere that allows visitors to reconnect with themselves.

Outside, Meditation Gardens invite quiet walks and reflection. Gentle pathways, greenery, and shared retreats foster a peaceful environment where silence and connection go hand in hand.

Dr. Ddnard’s personal residence — often described as castle-like — reflects her belief that elegance and mindfulness can harmoniously coexist.

Dr. Ddnard’s Legacy of Wisdom and Impact

Her work also extends into the digital world through the Zoul App, developed in collaboration with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. The platform unites ancient wisdom and modern science to support mental wellness. Available in 17 languages, it makes mindfulness and healing accessible to people across cultures and nations worldwide.

Dr. Ddnard’s leadership and contributions have earned international recognition. She was named Leader of the Year at the Women Changing the World Awards in London and received an Honourable Mention for the Duchess of York Golden Heart Award.

Supporting this vision is Rarin “TaTa” Thongma, Chairwoman of the Compass Meditation Centre Foundation and a respected business leader. Together, they ensure the Centre continues to grow as a sanctuary for mindful leadership.

Despite her ongoing ventures in London and Dubai, Dr. Ddnard returns to Thailand four times a year to personally lead meditation retreats — giving not only her wealth, but also her time, presence, and wisdom. Her presence is not for recognition, but to reconnect with what she has built — a space where compassion, stillness, and vision meet.

This spirit of giving is central to her teaching. As she often reminds her students and peers: “When one person chooses to give with love and compassion, the whole world changes.”

Why Global Leaders Come Here

In today’s fast-moving, high-pressure world, global leaders are seeking more than rest — they’re searching for inner clarity. The Compass Meditation Centre and the Puritat Golden Pagoda have quietly become sanctuaries for those looking to lead from within.

What draws them here is not status or recognition, but the opportunity to reconnect with purpose. The Centre offers a rare blend of ancient wisdom and modern leadership values, making it a place where CEOs, diplomats, and visionaries can reflect, reset, and realign.

What Alexandra Timmros experienced during her visit reflects what many quietly seek — not grandeur, but truth. Not attention, but intention. The Compass Meditation Centre is not a place built to impress, but a space to remember who you are — and how to lead from within.

Miss Grand Sweden Alexandra Timmros: A Young Leader’s Reflection

At just 24, Alexandra Timmros represents a new generation that seeks more than titles — a generation looking for depth, awareness, and purpose. With a background in professional tennis, neuroscience, and international living, she brought with her a lens of curiosity and clarity.

More than a home, Dr. Ddnard’s residence embodies her belief that beauty and mindfulness are not separate — but part of the same way of life.

Her visit became a deeply moving experience, something she later expressed in her own heartfelt words.

"Miss DD, I was trying to take everything in, and I could not see, believe my eyes. What I saw, what you have built. Since London, I have always thought of you so highly and respected you deeply. But this is different. As a businesswoman, it’s difficult for people to see what you do — especially when it’s something that doesn’t benefit them in any way, or bring revenue. The way they spoke about you, the warmth, and the welcome they showed me — thank you for everything. This visit meant a lot to me. I also had no idea your house was like this. It felt like a castle — very, very beautiful. They told me you designed everything yourself, and it was truly spectacular to see. We have talked a lot in London about what you have in Thailand. But to witness it myself is something I will never forget, an experience I may never feel again in my whole life. The gold, the temple — my feelings, I cannot describe in words. But I want to express my gratitude to you. My family also sends their best regards. And you should be very proud of yourself, for what you have done for humanity. I hope there will be more people like you in the world. Truly, you are unique. Don’t let anyone trick you or come too close. You are above and beyond everyone. I see you differently now. From my heart, I am very grateful. Thank you."

A Global Model for Conscious Leadership

The Compass Meditation Centre and Puritat Golden Pagoda are more than just places of worship or retreat. They are living examples of how purpose-driven leadership, grounded in generosity and stillness, can shape lives, influence cultures, and inspire transformation.

Those who visit often leave with more than peace. They carry with them a renewed sense of purpose, a deeper clarity of mind, and a vision of leadership that begins not with control, but with compassion.
